Sherry Sytsma Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Sytsma of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on May 31, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edward and Marjorie Faye Nace (Selby); her son Ronnie; her siblings, Harold, Bill Nace, Dorothy Shepherd and Carol Welch; and her half-sister Nada Ridwell.
She is survived by: her significant other Dannie Eugene Sytsma; her family Gene; her children, Belinda DeGroot (Rich) of Rose Hill and Daryl Sytsma (Brenda) of Oskaloosa; her granddaughters, Nicole Williams (Brandon) of Springhill, TN, Elizabeth DeGroot of Boston, MA, Kelsey DeGroot of Oskaloosa, Sarah Lobberecht (Adam) of University Park, Shelby Pinegar of Oskaloosa, Breann Brown (Kyle) of New Virginia, IA, Faith Systma of Oskaloosa and Rylie Sytsma of Oskaloosa; her great grandchildren, Noah, Elijah, Adalyn, Jacey, Kalliope, Josh, Jamie, Emma, Brinley and Benjamin; and her brother Gary Nace (Alice).
Memorial contributions can be made to the Mahaska Health Foundation for the Hospice Serenity House.
