She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Gibson and Peggy Hargrove Gibson. She is survived by: her husband Frank Vera of Oskaloosa; her daughter Kelli Shrader (Scott) of Oskaloosa; and her grandsons, Austin Shrader (Kelsie Thomlin) and Mason Shrader (Cheyenne Jaquez).

Memorials may be made to the Stephen's Memorial Animal Shelter.
