It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Whitsel (Oskaloosa, Iowa), who passed away on April 26, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Edith Gilbert; his sister Mary Whitsel; and his half-brothers, Chuck and Bobby Whitsel. He is survived by: his former wife Martha Maxwell; his wife Carol Morgan; his friend His; his children, Cassie Lobberecht (David) of New Sharon, Casey Whitsel (Tara) of Eddyville, Cory Collins of Albia and Coady Whitsel of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Keiffer, Adam, Olivia, Peyton, Ian, Ethan and Cohen; his great grandchildren, Gohan and Avery; his brother Jesse Whitsel of Fort Dodge; and his nephew Lance Langstrat.
