He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Brummel; his son-in-law Brock Welch of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Faith Welch, Sarah Welch and Joshua Welch; and his sisters, Marla Witt of Cedar, Eileen Van Gorp (David) of Marion, Janice Young of Marion and Susan Fisher-Young of Washington, Iowa..
