He is survived by: his former wives, Lois Newell and Sally Lewis of Oskaloosa; and his stepchildren, Rick Schuring (Jennifer) of Pella, Bryce Schuring (Tracey) of Newton, Lori Arion (David) of Checotah, Jana Bandstra (Gene) of New Sharon, Julie Knoot (Marvin) of New Sharon, Scott Lewis (Amy) of Shawnee and Lyle Dickey (Jenny) of Oskaloosa.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or Stephen's Memorial Animal Shelter.
