He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Earl and Ruby McNeese Silvers; his son Timothy Silvers; his great grandchild Gabriella Madrid; and his siblings, Merle Silvers, James Silvers and Charlene Beach.
He is survived by: his former wife Marsha Schwab; his wife Patricia Beadle of Oskaloosa; his children, Richard Silvers, Jr. of Oskaloosa, Pam Sanders of Oskaloosa, Judy Visser (Mike) of Oskaloosa, Guy Silvers (Julie) of Fairfield, Steve Silvers (Lisa) of Lancaster and Lois Wright (Rick); his stepson Daniel Miller of Grinnell; and his siblings, Jerry Silvers (Barb) of Fairfield, David Silvers (Cathy) of Ollie, Iowa and Dixie Engle (Ray) of Fairfield. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one on the way; one great great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
