He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Crook (Doris) and Thelma Patterson (Charles); his brother Roger Crook; and his stepbrother Dennis Patterson. He is survived by: his son Tim Crook of Oskaloosa; his wife Diana Crook; his pet Schatzi of Oskaloosa; his daughter Tina Hipsher (Bryan) of New Sharon; his stepsiblings, Linda Otejen of Oskaloosa and Bob Patterson (Phyllis) of Des Moines; his brother-in-law Danny Oliverson (Cheri); his grandchildren, Holly Greenhalgh, Amanda, Bryon Schuring and Seth Crook; and his great grandchildren, Haleigh, Kailyn, Lexi, Paisley, Catalaya, Zinnia, Chase and Kinsley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
