It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard B Cady of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Leroy and Maude Vera McKenney Cady; his wife Marilyn McGuire; his great grandchild Dane Baldock; his siblings, Merrill Cady and Maxine Shaw; and his brother-in-law Harold Loveall.
He is survived by: his children, Linda (Mark Goodman), Rick (Rhonda Cady), Sharon (John Aschinger) and Joann (Randy Plate); his grandchildren, Jamie Gerard (Dustin), Crystal Cady (Cole Nilson), Amber Baldock (Shannon), Daniel Goodman (Deanna), Ashley Kerr (Trent), Mindy Griffin (Jake), Brenda Malloy (Davey), Chelsey Johnson (Greg) and Ben Plate (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Logan Baldock, Brooke Baldock, Peyton Baldock, Kadin Gerard, Addison Gerard, Lincoln Nilson, Kira Doty, Jaylynn Kerr, Tanner Kerr, Trevin Griffin, Saige Griffin, Aubrey Plate, Hannah Plate, Charley Johnson, Drew Johnson, Drake Goodman, Hayden Goodman, Ally Goodman and Milo Malloy; and his sister Norene Williams of Fayetteville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event.
Memorials may be made to the Fellowship Bible Church in Oskaloosa.
