He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Picken and Joanna Picken (Sinclair); his sister Karen Osterfoss Myers; his stepmother Frances Wells Picken; his brothers-in-law, DeVerne Osterfoss, Charles Tyrrel and Gary Brunt; and his niece Kelly Jo Osterfoss.
He is survived by: his sons, Joel Allan Picken and Kyle Mark Picken (Megan); his wife Becky Brunt; his granddaughters, Kinsley, Aubrey and Layla; his niece Renee Godfredsen (Ron); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan, Sarah, Sean and Seth; his niece Sheri Curtin (Ed); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Eddie and Austin; his sisters-in-law, Mary Beth Tyrrel and Melinda Dexter; and his stepsister Sue Wells (Judy Luellwitz). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Langkamp Funeral Chapel (2116 N 3rd St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Cemetery (934 N 9th St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577).
