He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry McGinity and Maxine McGinity (Fiddler); his wife Linda Schott; his brothers, Henry "Sonny" and Leon McGinity; and his brother-in-law Larry Lautenbach.
He is survived by: his children, Stan McGinity (Rhonda) of Oskaloosa, Michelle Vinton (Bernard) of Oskaloosa, Toni Cerwinske (Al) of Delta and April Siggins (Adam) of Atlantic; his grandchildren, Colter Vinton, Alyssa Vinton (Josh Hickenbottom), Kyle Vinton (Brea Wininger), Chelsea Vinton (Kolby Starit), Eric McGinity (Kaylee), Lexi McGinity, Jordan Hartwig, Dakota Templeman, Austin Roe (Emily), Brad Roe, Ashley Vancenbrock, Trevor Vancenbrock (Brenda), Liz Siggins, Chris Siggins (Shelby Anderson), Ethan Siggins, Rickie Siggins and Devon Siggins; his sisters, Gladys "Janie" Schuring (Kenny) of Oskaloosa and JoAnn Lautenbach of Pella; and his pet Puggy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
