He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sprunk and Elizabeth Sprunk; his former wife Vera Warner; and his siblings, Fred Sprunk, Ronald Sprunk and Rose Ann Garland.
He is survived by: his son Timothy; his wife Loretta Sprunk of Pella; his grandchildren, Ryan Sprunk (Crystal) and Morgan Van Zante (Michael); his great grandchildren, Dylan, Alex, Kinsley and Haven; his sisters, Mary Lou Cappeton, Mary Georgiana and Jane Jacobson; and his brothers-in-law, Rev. Luther Bergeland and George Garland.
