She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Bunting and Juanita Bunting (Thompson); and her pet Sammie. She is survived by: her children, Wade Vander Molen (Valerie) of Alexandria, Alicia Vander Molen (Pat Gilman) of Monroe and Aaron Vander Molen of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Isla, Aria Vander Molen of Alexandria, Virginia, Noah Vander Molen of Monroe and Abigail Vander Molen of Katy, Texas; and her cousins, Dwayne, Kay Bunting of Milwaukee and Virginia Bunting of Montezuma.

Memorials may be made to the Stephen Memorial Animal Shelter in Oskaloosa.
