With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Jo Walker of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on May 1, 2021 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Jo Walker to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Abram and Mae Bakalar (Vangilder); her sister Mary; her husband Earl Walker; her grandson Jeordan Piper; and her great grandchild Maddox VanKooten.
She is survived by: her children, Tammie Walker (David Hodges) of Oskaloosa, Steve Walker of Oskaloosa, Doug Walker (Melissa) of Oskaloosa and Melinda Piper (Douglas) of Chariton, IA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild on the way, 16 brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and appropriate personal protective equipment are advised for attending these public events.
