She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Cowman and Helen Cowman (Lorenz); her husband Larry Stewart; her siblings, Jeff, Jerry Cowman and Sandra Banks; and her siblings-in-law, Cecil Banks and Mary Cowman.

She is survived by: her son Eric Stewart (Teresa) of Oskaloosa; her granddaughters, Isabella and Amarah Stewart; her brother Danny Cowman (Deb) of Parnell; and her aunt Betty Handy of Oskaloosa.

Memorials may be made to MHP Serenity Hospice House.
