He was predeceased by: his parents, Dannie Sytsma and Josephine Sytsma; his wife Loretta Sytsma; his parents-in-law, Clifford and Vera Krutsinger; and his sisters-in-law, Sherry Sytsma and Lynette Canady.
He is survived by: his son Cody Sytsma (Jordan) of Ankeny, Iowa; his grandchildren, Lennon and Sully; his siblings, Pauline Baxter of Oskaloosa, Eugene Sytsma and Randy Sytsma (Sharon) of Oskaloosa; and his brother-in-law Cliff Krutsinger.
