It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma F. Courtney of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norma F. Courtney to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Grant and Lillian Alta McConnell (Beaumont); her spouse Emery Marion Courtney; her siblings, Florence McConnell, Doris Lawson, Howard and David McConnell; and her great grandchild Kai McAlpin.
She is survived by: her children, Gale Vermeulen (Cor) of Oskaloosa, LaRue Fagen (Ray) of Midland and William Courtney of Burlington, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Kees, Taaf, Bram Vermeulen, Mariah McAlpin, Wade Fagen-Ulmschneider, Sara Thomas, Paul Fagen, Amy Courtney and Andrea Layne. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Two Timbers Church of Christ.
