We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2023, at the age of 84, Nels Don Celestin Nord (Oskaloosa, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Don H. Nord M. D. and Celeste Nord R. N. (Mathis); and his sister Karen Dunne (Leo Dunne). He is survived by: his brother Rick; his wife Donna Nord; his stepchildren, Angie, Rich, Denny, Nels Nord (Rowena) of Huxley and Rick Nord (Linda) of Nowalk; and also Mark Nord (Wanda) of Polk City. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
Donnie was a passionate cat lover, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stephen's Memorial Animal shelter, Oskaloosa, Iowa.
