He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Clarence and Wanda Louise Beal (Larkins); and his half-brother Martin Beal. He is survived by: his wife Deb; his children, Mike Beal of Oskaloosa, Veronica Johnson (Zachary) of Oskaloosa and Daniel Beal of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Lydia and Liam Johnson; his siblings, Jimmie L. Beal (Susan) of Texas, Ronnie L. Beal (Kathy) of Tracy, Dennis H. Beal (Deborah) of Oskaloosa and Ellen L. Bunnell (Gary) of Centerville; his brother-in-law Loren Neal Goldsworth of Council Bluffs; and his mother-in-law Vonna Goldsworth of Oskaloosa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions can be made to Mahaska Health Foundation and directed to Hospice.
