She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Clara Leona Zuercher Curtis; her stepdaughter Carol Ann Barcus; and her sisters, Nellie Tackett, Joan Dean, June Biehn and Janice Miller.
She is survived by: her former husband Lawrence Milton McBeth; her husband Melvin "Popeye" Riley; her children, Homer McBeth (Sandra) of Pella, Thelma Van Wyk (Bryce) of Illinois, Lawrence "Sonny" McBeth of Des Moines, Danny Riley (Vicki) of Arkansas and Dennis Riley (Renee) of California; her brother John Curtis of Oskaloosa; and her daughter-in-law Karen McBeth of Oskaloosa.
