She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Thomas and Effie Thomas (Hols); her son Richard "Dickie" Lewis Jr. Evans (Lisa) of Oskaloosa; her husband Richard Evans; her son Mike Evans; her siblings, Maxine Brown, JoAnn Miller, Dick, Frank and Jerry Thomas of Ottumwa; and her close friend Ronnie Morrow.
She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Jo Evans of Beacon; her daughter-in-law Val Evans of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Benji, Jeremy, Michael Evans, Angela Fenton, Crystal Sieren (Danny VanPatten), Josh Gordon (Amanda), Chelsea Doak (Alex), Cori Evans (Josh Ver Steeg), Bobbi Jo Nichols (Andy) and Jake Evans (Stephanie); her siblings, Sadie Kennedy (Kenny) of Oskaloosa and David Thomas (Marilyn) of Oskaloosa; her sisters-in-law, Diane Thomas of Beacon and Vickie Thomas of What Cheer; and her nieces, Rhonda Hicks and Cathy Walker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
