We bid farewell to Mark Scholes of Oskaloosa, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 9, 2024 at the age of 44. Mark touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gary H. Scholes and Carrie Scholes (Branson); his wife Heidi Scholes (Fagen); his children, Austin, Andrew, Aaron and Aidan; his parents-in-law, David and Patricia Fagen; his sister Jodi Merkel (Jay); his siblings-in-law, Gretchen Fagen Nowag, Dave Fagen (Betsy) and Kirsten Stek (Mark); his nieces and nephews, Sarah Krouse (Jake), Megan Merkel (Braeden), Jakob, Ethan Stek and Kurt Nowag (Amanda); his grandparents, Jerry, Irene Branson, Harold and Phyllis Scholes; and his pets, Izzy and Addie.
