It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn H. Louwsma of Oskaloosa, Iowa, born in Eddyville, Iowa, who passed away on May 26, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lambert Branderhorst and Hendreen Branderhorst (Veldhuizen); her husband Ernest Louwsma; her son Carroll; and her great grandchild Julia Roberts.
She is survived by: her sons, Eldon Louwsma (Joleen) of Fremont and Leon Louwsma (Mary) of New Sharon; her grandchildren, Andi Doane (Jon), Amie Roberts (Todd), Angie Dillon (Jeff), Alyssa Preston (Zac), Stacy Crill (Erich), Brian Louwsma (Jodi), Christina Hawkins (Andy) and Chelsea Abbas (Brandon); her siblings, Joanne Vos of Sully, Pearl Vos of Sully, Calvin Branderhorst (Ruth) of Oskaloosa and Rose Van Woerkom of New Sharon; and her sister-in-law Shirley Bos of Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
