She was predeceased by: her parents, Delman Zante and Lucille Van Zante (Kuiper); her husband Dwayne Bruinekool; her sister Marilyn Swanson; and her close friend Chet Mathes.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Shepard of Ottumwa and Todd Bruinekool (Francine) of Springfield, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Bryan Parcel (Tiffany), Stephan Rhodus, Melissa Boessen, John Boessen and Susie Berendzen. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (709 Independence St, Pella, IA 50219).
