He is survived by: his parents, Jared Van Kooten and Lacey Walker; his brother Walker Overturf of Derby; his grandparents, Doug Walker of Oskaloosa, Melissa Walker of Oskaloosa, Crystal Fynaardt of University Park and Don Van Kooten of Oskaloosa; his great-grandparents, Peggy Walker of Oskaloosa, Ronald Sheets, Barbara Sheets of Oskaloosa, Mary Ann Van Kooten of Oskaloosa and Betty Augustine of Oskaloosa; his uncles, Ariel Nance (Michael), Carissa Scheve (Clayton), Holly Erwin (Brian), Breonna Nimtz (Adam) and Dedee Ussery; and his grandfather Rick Ussery.
