It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Eugene Boender (Oskaloosa, Iowa), who passed away on September 18, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Boender and Mabel Colville Boender; and his stepgranddaughter Madison Stanke. He is survived by: his sons, David Boender (Kerri) of Moravia and Dan Boender (Mindy) of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Angela Miller (Travis), Chad Boender (Tonya), Eric Boender (Michelle) and Brad Boender (Julie); his stepchildren, Bruce, Brian, Brent and Renee; and also, Bob Floden (Joan), Paul Floden (Bev), Betty Den Hartog, Sharon Scott and Rosemary Boender.
