With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucy Lorence of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on November 18, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her brother Harold; her children, Jim Lorence (Lynne) of Ankeny, Joanne "Jody" Lorence (John Otto) of Atlantic and Jon Lorence (Tanya) of Houston, TX; her stepdaughters, Barbara Anderson of Lakeland and Susan Lorence; her grandchildren, Julie Kumar (Rakesh) of Champagne, Ill, Kim Arunsiripate (Wesley) of Ames, Marc Lorence (Sarah) of Des Moines, Jessica Otto (Will Zellweger) of Washington, D. C. and Andrew Otto (Muriel) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; her stepgrandchildren, Michael Anderson of Lakeland and Katie Hamer (Kevin) of Lakeland, Florida; and her great grandchildren, Tanner, Mason, Taylor Hamer, Ishaan Kumar, Madden, Landry Kane, Kenji Arunsiripate, Myles Lorence, Oliver Zellweger, Alice and Sal Otto.
She was spunky, outspoken, patriotic, and an eternal optimist but even she was no match for Covid.
