She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Moffet and Bertha Moffet (Wassenhove); her spouse Charles "Chuck" Leroy Heaton; her children, Linda Kay Heaton Binns (Bill) of Oskaloosa and Carl Lee Heaton (Kerry) of Minnesota; and her grandchildren, Steve Heaton (Kendra) of Oskaloosa, Cara Heaton of Oskaloosa, C. J., Katie Heaton Kilburg of Minnesota, Sarah Binns Shepherd (Quintin) of Texas and Owen Binns of Ankeny.

Instead of flowers, memorials can be made to Mahaska County Hospice or the Alzheimer's Assn.
