It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lori Renee Rote of Oskaloosa, Iowa, born in Albia, Iowa, who passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Danny Smith and Richard Rote; her parents, David Hunt and Judy Hunt; and her stepsisters, Doris Keys and Carolyn Repp.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Rote (Shannon), Nicholas Rote, Ryan Rote (Jessica) and Brittany Beals (Sean Abbott); her grandchildren, Scott, Kyle, Taylor, Sydney, Alexis, Alaina, Mddison, Kacie, Cody, William and Ava; her siblings, Kevin Hunt (Alicia), Brian Hunt (Maureen), Brad Hunt (Tammy) and Mindy Ford (James); her stepsisters, Connie, Paula Repp and Elsie Foster; and her close friend Carlleen Adams. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.

An open memorial has been established to the family.
