He was predeceased by: his parents, James Denney and Irene Ferguson Denney; his son Roger Denney; his son-in-law Larry Clark; his great grandchild Tessa Hulbert; and his siblings, Raymond Denney and Barbara (Tom Jones).
He is survived by: his wife Lubertha Denney of Oskaloosa; his children, Craig Denney (Diana) of Geneseo, Illinios, Karen Hulbert (Marvin) of Longmont and Kristi Clark of Farmington, Iowa; his daughter-in-law Gerry Denney of Marion, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Nancy Denney of Waynesville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
