She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Lewis and Lela May Playle (McCain); her husband Paul Thomas Gott; and her siblings, Colleen Playle, Jerry Ben Playle, Bernie Playle and Darlene Playle.

She is survived by: her son Justin Gott of Oskaloosa; her grandchildren, Payton, Alivia and Ezra Gott; and her siblings, Lewis Playle of Barnes City, Joanne Playle of Moravia, Ed Playle (Jane) of Oskaloosa, Robbie Playle (Connie) of Oskaloosa, David Playle of Oskaloosa, Judy Playle of Oskaloosa and Carolyn Vance of Oskaloosa.
