With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillian Van Arkel of Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on December 21, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Garret Ommen and Maggie Van Ommen (Klein); her husband Ralph Van Arkel; her daughter Patricia Hayman; and her siblings, Ben, Dick, Walter, Gary, Tunis, Henry, John Van Ommen, Maggie Van Roekel, Nellie Ver Beek, Irene Van Mersbergen, Elizabeth Van Ommen, Henrietta Swank, Pearl Kitzman and Dora Lamers.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Ruggles (Ron) of Oskaloosa; her grandchildren, Samantha Nelson of Chicago, IL, Scarlett Overturf (Jonathan) of Oskaloosa and Dr. Brad Randleman of Atlanta, GA; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Casey, Mia Randleman and Marshall Overturf.
