She was predeceased by: her parents, Arie Linden and Patrina Boender Vander Linden; her husband Donald M. Patterson; and her sisters, Hazel Klein, Cathern DeBooy, Pauline Spain, Wilma VerSteeg, Betty Springer and Bernice Bias.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Walter (William) of New Sharon, Donald Patterson (Bernice) of Oskaloosa and Kenneth Patterson of New Sharon; her grandchildren, Kate Aziz (Joe), Beth Flander (Danen), Jason Hewitt (Traci) and Aaron Patterson (Jacque); and her sister Mildred Wenger of Columbia, Missouri.
