He was predeceased by: his father John Mitrisin; his son Kevin; his mother Mary Hreha Mitrisin (Hreha); and his siblings, John, Robert, Max, Babe, Marty and Roseanne.
He is survived by: his wife Helene Odile Carrat; his children, Nathalie and Steve; his grandchildren, Michael Lathrop (Jill), Chad Lathrop (Macey), Drew Mitrisin (Angie) of Overland Park and Annie Mitrisin of Columbia; his great grandchildren, Taegen Bossard (Nic Ryan), Luke Bossard and Jag Lathrop; his great great grandchild Merreck Ryan; and his brother Ed Mitrisin of Oskaloosa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or The American Legion in Oskaloosa.
