He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Lacey and Janice Arlene West (Baxter) of Fremont; his former wife Stacia Van Ringelestien; his children, Jade West, Caulin Riley of Oskaloosa and Noah West of Fremont; and his siblings, Kevin West (Amy) of Fremont, Andrew West of Ottumwa and Alexandra Cook (Corey) of Waukee.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Langkamp Funeral Chapel (2116 N 3rd St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
