He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oune Kouangvan and Meuang Kouangthi; his wife Heung Luongthi; and his sons, Phong Kouangvan and Bounlay Kouangvan. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
