He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard D. Chitwood and Lora Mae Chitwood (Miller); his siblings, Lacreta Chitwood, Don and Karol Chitwood; and his siblings-in-law, Jay, Jim Williams, Betty Madison, Sharon Prauser and Cheryl Williams.
He is survived by: his uncle Kenny; his aunt Margaret; his wife Margaret; his son Kevin; and his friends, Bess, Marvin Uitermarkt, Vicki, Jim Vander Linden, Missy McCombs and Amanda Veldhuizen. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions should be made to the First Christian Church or the Serenity House in care of Mahaska Health Foundation.
