With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth L Doty Sr. of Oskaloosa, Iowa, born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on October 26, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde and Minnie Mae Garrett Doty, Sr.; and his siblings, Viola Snook, Betty Snook, Carol Mayfield and Robert "Bob" Doty.
He is survived by: his former wife Marilyn Anderson; his children, Kenneth Doty, Jr. of Colorado Springs and Tamara Sue; his former wives, Dixie Ballou and Judy Van Dusseldorp; his daughter Tammie Fortney (Mike) of Oskaloosa; his adoptive son Nathan Doty of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Alicia Doty, Austin Doty, Hunter Doty, Megan Doty and Matthew Doty; and his brothers, John (Susan Doty), Clyde (Nancy Doty, Jr.) and Donald (Bonnie Doty).
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event.
Memorials may be made to the Iowa Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association.
