He is survived by: his former wife Jane Sapp; his son Joseph "Joey" Jr.; his wife Barbara Hudson of Oskaloosa; his children, Joey Fletcher Jr. (Jen) of Fremont and Jennifer Houk of Ottumwa; his grandchildren, Alexis Fletcher, Brady Messamaker, MaKenzie Fletcher, Mason Fletcher, Manuel Ramirez, Javier Ramirez, Arianna Wharton, Olivia McCLendon and Jayda McClendon; his stepdaughters, Amanda Ramirez and Tabitha McClendon (Anthony); his brother Ora Fletcher Jr. of Oskaloosa; and his stepsiblings, Tina Padgett of Ottumwa, Darlene Denniston of Oskaloosa, Teresa Schafer (David) of Seattle, WA., Rebecca Koontz of Oskaloosa, Richard Fletcher (Laura) of Millerton, IA and Karen Kay Fletcher.
