He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Harsh and Helen Harsh (Wickle); and his sister Gulya. He is survived by: his former spouse Evelynn Dickinson; his wife Betty Shanks of Oskaloosa; his sons, Jim Jr. (Deann) of Surprise, AZ and Tom (Jeri) of Surprise, AZ; his stepdaughter Debbie Mosbach (Clete) of Greenfield; his granddaughters, Amy Rogenski (Steve) of Moline, IL, Justean Palmer (Shawn) of Surprise, AZ, Dr. Lauri Harsh (Tom Ramstack) of Davenport and Jill Oostendorp (Steve) of Davenport; and his sister Margaret Harris of Iowa City.
According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and appropriate personal protective equipment are advised for attending this public event.
