He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rinehart of Oskaloosa; his son Ron (Robyn) of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Amanda Foster (Daniel) of Oskaloosa, Debra Cronin (Stephen) of Oskaloosa, Nicole Palmquist (Erik) of Oskaloosa and Jake McCrea of New Sharon; his great grandchildren, Norah, Bennett, Hazel, Fallon, Owen and Decker; his siblings, Chuck McCrea (Ellen) of Eddyville and Patricia Elscott of Oskaloosa; and his sister-in-law Peggy McCrea of Eddyville.
The family request memorial contributions are made to the Mahaska County YMCA Capital Campaign instead of floral tributes.
