He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Harold and Ida Louise Allen Nicholson; and his stepmother Burnette Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Judy Surfus; his children, John Nicholson (Jane) and Kelli Kindley (Michael); his grandchildren, Tyler Kindley (Paige), Brett Kindley and Ashley Kindley; and his brother Jack Nicholson (Judy).
