With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Van Skike of Oskaloosa, Iowa, born in Paris, Missouri, who passed away on June 12, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Skike and Reva Van Skike (Smith); his children, Dennis and Patricia; and his brother Bryan Van Skike.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Joyce Dunwoody of Oskaloosa; and his children, Donald Van Skike of Riverton, WY, Sharon Trapp of Oskaloosa, Duane Van Skike of Pahrump, NV, David Van Skike (Kristen) of Rena, NV, TeAnna Hasso (Shaun) of Des Moines, IA, Matthew Van Skike (Chenoa) of Oskaloosa and Kathleen Van Skike of Oskaloosa.

Memorial contributions can be made in Jack's name and will be designated among several Veterans Organizations.
