He is survived by: his parents, Roy Wesley and Opal Elizabeth Knepper Dietz; his brother Jay (Marlene); his children, Denise Dietz of Glendale, Darin Dietz of San Diego and Hillary Hurley of Ottumwa; and his sisters, Pat Hughes (Kenny) of Oskaloosa, Judy Saeger of Tena Vera, Charly, Roxy and Lucy.
