He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Samuel, Grace Wilson, Jacob and Katharina Dietz; his parents, John Dietz and Martha Dietz; his siblings, Sam Dietz and Elaine Gilbert; and his half-brothers, Mike Callahan and Thomas Banta.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Dietz; his children, Andrew Dietz, Jack Dietz and Vivian Raines (Waylon); his stepchild Georgina DeRonde (Brent) of Stewart Kershaw; and his sister Alyce Becklenberg (Larry). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
