She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Garfield and Georgiana Conaway Powell; her husband Warren Eves Cadwallader; her daughters, Jane Powell, Mariann Harris (Greg) of Leawood, Kansas and Julie Cadwallader-Staub; her grandchildren, Christine Elizabeth Harris, Katherine Ann Harris, Benjamin Eves Cadwallader-Staub (Natalie Badawy), Nora Marie Atwood (Brett), Mary Rachel Cadwallader-Staub (Bradley Nicholson), Ryan Lee Howe (Lucy Zai) and Jacob Howe (Allison Nunnikhoven); her great grandchildren, Marianna Mireille, Lucas Everett, Warren Jackson Atwood and Luke Orion Howe; her sister-in-law Warrene Webber (Cadwallader) of Oskaloosa; and her son Warren Cadwallader-Staub. She was also cherished by grandchildren, nieces and nephews — and many friends.
She believed in children and families, was dedicated to the importance of early childhood education, and helped develop an experiential, play oriented curriculum that provided a strong foundation for children.
