We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2021, at the age of 96, Ilaruth Burke of Oskaloosa, Iowa, born in Tracy, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Edith Binns (Barnes); her husband Forrest E. Burke Jr.; her granddaughter Jessica Webb; and her sisters, Juanita Mabee, Iola Mae Thayer and Beulah Sherman.

She is survived by: her children, John Burke (Carolyn) of Yulee and Joyce Webb (Charles "Chuck") of Oskaloosa; her grandchildren, John Burke Jr. (Cindy), Scott Burke (Kristina), David Burke (Sarah), Andrea Gerritson (Mike) and Adam Webb (Jackie); and her great grandchildren, Lindsey Burke, Cole Webb-Jones, Riley Webb, Gabriel Gerritson, Devin Burke, Jessi Gerritson, Sierra Webb and Avery Webb.

According to the rules put in place by the Iowa Department of Public Health, proper social distancing and reasonable personal protective equipment is advised for attending a religious public event.
