He is survived by: his mother-in-law Mary Lou Sieren; his children, Elizabeth Bower of New York, Teri Lickteig (Joe) of Pella, Dan Bower (Kathi) of Cedar Falls and David Bower (Melissa) of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Mitch Bower, Alice Lickteig, Josie Lickteig, Madison Bower, Shelby Bower, Bennett Bower and Genevieve Bower; his siblings, Patricia Wade of Iowa City, Rita Barnett (Dallas) of Texas and Charles Bower (Mariellen) of Riverside, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Elaine Bower.
