He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Moffet and Jennie Morgan Moffet; and his siblings, John Moffet, Lee Moffet, Betty Moffet, Clara Ludwick (Howard) and Mary VanZomeren (Carl).
He is survived by: his wife Helen VerBeek; his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Liam Miller; his sisters-in-law, Ruth Moffet of Eddyville and JoAnn Moffet of Oskaloosa; and also, Phyllis, Joe Fitzpatrick of Stinson Beach, California, Samantha Scharwtz-Miller and Jeff Miller.
Memorials may be made to Mahaska County Sheriff Posse.
