He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry G. Bartholomew and Ruth L. Riegel Bartholomew; and his brothers, Charles Bartholomew and James O. Bartholomew. He is survived by: his former wife Mary Jo Cline; his wife Mary Jo Bartholomew of Oskaloosa; his children, Mary Ann Bartholomew of Las Vegas, Angela Patterson of New Sharon and David Bartholomew of Des Moines; his grandchildren, John Patterson, Christopher Patterson and Kayla Bartholomew; his sister-in-law Terri Bartholomew of Pittsburg, Texas; his niece Dawn Lull (Barry); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brittany, Breanne and Tabitha of Waukee; and also, Bill Patterson and Natasha Stucker of Dexter, Iowa.
