It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary DeGoey (Oskaloosa, Iowa), who passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willus "Bill" Wayne and Alberta Marie DeGoey (Woolsey); his parents-in-law, Roy and Betty Green; and his brothers-in-law, Gary McKay, Tom Macha and Rick Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy DeGoey of New Sharon; his children, Erica Hemsley (Randy) of Sigourney, Erin DeGoey of Oskaloosa, Kevin DeGoey of Omaha and Dustin Snakenberg (Ashlee) of Fremont; his grandchildren, Kale Hemsley, Brookelyn Hemsley, Maysen Brunt, Chanan Snakenberg, Tinlee Snakenberg and Moshé DeGoey; and his sisters, Diane Moothart (Mike) of New Sharon and Luanne Azcui (Roberto) of Algonquin, Illinois..
Memorials may be made to the family and will be divided among Gary's favorite charities.
